HEAT TRANSMITTING TRANSDUCER

摘要

PURPOSE:To recover heat energy with high performance by coating a gas permeable solid with a substance having a high emissivity. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a ceramic fiber as a gas permeable solid is coated with silicon carbide which is a substance having a emissivity of 0.8 or more with respect to a heat wave having a wavelength of 0.5-2.5mum to thereby form a heat transmitting transducer. By this arrangement, it is possible to obtain a heat transmitting transducer capable of recovering heat energy with high performance.
