A method for manufacturing a product of ceramics in which a green body (31) is formed by isostatic pressing and an outer surface of the green body (31) is polished by a buffing member (33) before sintering, so that the utilization coefficient of a starting material of the product can be improved but the smoothness of the outer surface of the final product is the same as the smoothness of the outer surface of the conventional product.
