In a device for fastening a front panel 1 to metallic drawer frames 2, each of which has a recess 6 at the end, a block 10 is fastened to the front panel 1 and is provided with a groove 11 into which one of the drawer frames 2 can be inserted. Provided alongside the recess 6 in the drawer frame 2 is a slot 8 in which a projection 13 which projects directly from one side wall of the groove 11 in the block 10 engages. Part of the block 10 projects into the recess 6 in the drawer frame 2. The block 10, which is preferably produced from plastic, protrudes freely from the rear of the front panel 1. The groove 11 runs around the block 10 on three free sides, and the core 12 of the block 10, defining the bottom of the groove, projects into the recess 6. A screw 15 aligned parallel with the front panel 1 projects through the block 10 and the slot 8 in the area of the projection 13, and connects the two sections of the block 10 which are separated by the groove 11. <IMAGE> |
