PURPOSE:To ensure transfer of droplet and improve stability of arc in welding in which droplet is separated from a wire by pinching force of peak current by making the base current value at the time of starting higher than stationary state. CONSTITUTION:When the peak voltage VP is generated in time tP, the peak current becomes IP being accompanied by delay due to a smoothing reactor. Let VBS, VB represent base voltage value at the time of starting and in stationary state respectively, td the delay from completion to starting of base voltage, tPB time of transferring from VBS to VB, and tB duration time of VB. When base voltage that transfers from VBS, which is higher than VB, to VB in slopewise, is generated, base current becomes IB, and peak of base current IBP is generated slightly later than the starting of base. Accordingly, output current of welding power source in which IP and IB are superposed becomes Im. Thus, change of current becomes gentle in a part of waveform by conventional method enclosed by dashed lines and solid lines, and the purpose can be achieved. |
