PURPOSE:To increase the luminous flux of a fluorescent lamp, without deteriorating its color-rendering performance, by using a phosphor activated with antimony and manganese and having a color temperature of 5,500-7,500k as a phosphor for a first layer, and using a phosphor activated with europium as a blue emitting phosphor contained in a phosphor for a second layer. CONSTITUTION:At first, 2.5g of calcium halophosphate phosphor activated with animony and manganese and having a color temperature of 6,300k, which is used as the first phosphor, is applied to the inner wall of the tube. Next, after the above inner wall coated with the first phosphor film is dried and sintered, 2.2g of mixture phosphor consisting of 16% strontinum calcium chloroaphatite phosphor activated with europium, 38% cerium magnesium aluminate phosphor activated with terbium and 46% yttrium oxide activated with europium, which is used as the second phosphor, is applied on the first phosphor film. The luminous flux of thus obtained fluorescent lamp, which is 3405lm, shows about 3% improvement on that of a conventional fluorescent lamp. Besides, the mean color rendering index (Ra) of the lamp is 84. |
