<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a lowering of ozone decomposition capacity by preventing dew condensation by holding the temp. of an ozone decomposition tower in the vicinity of that of waste ozone gas by surrounding the outer periphery of the ozone decomposition tower by a heat insulating cylinder and letting waste water, treated water or the waste ozone gas flow through the heat insulating cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Purified treated water is guided to a cylindrical ozone decomposition tower 9 from a treated water pipe 7a and waste ozone gas lowered in its ozone concn. by purification is guided to said tower 9 through a waste ozone pipe 8. The ozone decomposition tower 9 is surrounded by a heat insulating cylinder 11 and the waste ozone pipe 8 communicates with the heat insulating cylinder 11 and the waste ozone gas flows through the heat insulating cylinder 11 to be introduced into the ozone decomposition tower 9. Even at the time of low temp. in winter, the temp. of the ozone decomposition tower 9 is held to that of waste treated water or the waste ozone gas by the heat insulating cylinder and the waste ozone gas whose humidity is near to 100% not lowered in its temp. within the ozone decomposition tower and no dew condensation is generated. Therefore, a lowering of the decomposition capacity of an ozone decomposing agent due to dew condensation is prevented.</p> |
