PURPOSE:To reduce crosstalk induced from an adjacent track greatly by setting a couple of magnetic heads at close intervals nH(where (n) is a positive integer and H is one horizontal scanning period). CONSTITUTION:A rotary magnetic head device 40 has a rotating drum 41, where the 1st rotary magnetic heads HL1 and HL2 are fitted at an angle interval of about 180 deg. while the 2nd rotary magnetic heads HH1 and HH2 which rotate following the 1st magnetic heads HL1 and HL2 at prescribed head intervals are fitted at an angle interval of about 180 deg.. The 1st and 2nd heads HL and HH are fitted on the same plane of rotation and differ in azimuth as shown in the figure to perform high-density recording, and the head intervals W corresponds to the time which is an integral multiple of, i.e. (n)-fold as long as a horizontal scanning period H. Thus, crosstalk from an adjacent track is reduced greatly. |
