<p>PURPOSE:To suppress a defect, which occurs to one thin film transistor (TFT) driving a pixel electrode, to an abnormal display of a 1/4 pixel even if the defect occurs and to reduce a decrease in display quality by forming one pixel of four pixel electrodes. CONSTITUTION:One pixel is constituted by using two TFT groups which share the gates of two TFTs, so one pixel is composed of four TFTs TA11, TB11, TC11, and TD11. The respective TFTs are connected to respective pixels PA11 - PD11. Consequently, even if one TFT becomes defective, only a 1/4 display defect occurs and other 3/4 parts make a normal display, so the display quality deteriorates a little. Further, the source terminals of four TFTs constituting one pixel are made common and the gate terminals of every two TFTs are common, so the formation space for the TFT has a little increase as compared with 1-pixel/1-TFT.</p> |
