PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy and stability of idling speed control by furnishing an idling condition sensing means, which is to know the idling condition of the engine, and a degree-of-opening control means which is to maintain the control value for the degree-of-opening signal at a certain specified level. CONSTITUTION:A flow control valve a is installed on a shunting line, as a by-pass to a throttle on the suction passage, in order to control the rate of flow of the suction air. A target value setting means d is to set the command idling speed in accordance with the operating condition. A degree-of-opening control means f makes feedback control of the control value for the degree-of- opening signal while the engine is in idling, and stops the feedback control while out of idling. Further, the control value is set to a certain specific value according to the number of revolutions. This will prevent drop of the durability of flow control valve, and enhance the accuracy and stability of the idling speed control. |
