PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF 2-RADIOACTIVE IODO SPIROPERIDOL

摘要

2-Iodo spiroperidol of formula (I) is prepd. by treating diazo cpd. obtd. by diazoation of 2-aminospiroperidol with radioactive iodine metal salt. In (I), X is a radioactive I atom; pref. X is an atom from radioactive I isotopes comprising I-123, I-125, I-131 and I-132. (I) may be aslo be prepd. by subjecting 2- halogenospiroperidol and radioactive iodine metal salt to exchange reaction. (I) has high affinity to dopamine and bonds with dopamine receptor specifically. (I) is useful as a radioactive diagnostio.
