The receiver for receiving both of C and Ku band satellite broadcastings with a low noise converter being compatible to C and Ku band comprises a wide band amplifier (7) amplifying the broadcasting signal of C and U band passed through a band pass filter (6), a wide band mixer (10) generating the intermediate frequency (IF) mixed with the amplified signal output of a c band local oscillator (8), and output of a Ku band local oscillator (9), an IF band pass filter (11) , an IF amplifier (12), a clock generator (13) providing clock signal and constant DC voltage by selection signal of C or Ku band, and a selector (14) selecting the local oscillators (8,9).
