PURPOSE: To enable a wiring harness to be formed on a flat plane with ease and reliability by automating every information required for positioning conductors of wiring harnesses one by one by the use of a micro computer, so as to give the information to an operator. CONSTITUTION: A micro computer 1 is connected to a bar cord reader 4 via a connection line 3 in order to identify each of conductors of harnesses, and to a generator 6 capable of generating a low-output laser beam 7 via another connection line 5. After a conductor 13 is identified by the bar cord reader 4, the generator 6 is controlled in such a manner that the beam 7 continuously designates a series of given holes 12 prior to positioning the conductor. An operator inserts a guide pin 14 into each of the holes, thereby finally providing a layout 16 of a passage with respect to the conductor. |
