PURPOSE:To decrease the access time with the positioning of a magnetic head, especially with a moving head, by providing a plurality of core sliders wherein a plurality of cores are mounted on one slider for reproduction and recording. CONSTITUTION:Two cores 5 and 6 are mounted on one slider 3 and accessing is made to the 1st data zone DZ1 of a magnetic disc. First, when the core 5 is accessed to a cylinder number cy 000, the core 6 is accessed to a cy 200. Then, when the core is accessed to a cy 400, the core 6 is accessed to a cy 600. Thus, in the range of core coverage, the core 5 covers cy 000-cy 199, and cy 400- cy 599, and the core 6 covers cy 200-cy 399 and cy 600-cy 799. All the cylinder number included in the 1st data zone DZ1 can be covered with the changeover of the head number and the access time can be decreased. |
