摘要 PURPOSE:To make available to control a fuel flow correspondingly to a suction air quantity even when an engine speed varies as experienced in engaging a clutch and the like, by obtaining the engine speed from average values when a fuel is injected with a pulse interval larger than a preset one while a throttle valve is fully closed. CONSTITUTION:A step 101 judges whether a throttle valve is fully closed or not, whereas whether a fuel is injected with a pulse interval larger than a preset one is judged in a step 102. When these two conditions are met simultaneosly, an engine speed is obtained from average values of past (n) times observations. An average engine speed as obtained in a step 104 is utilized to compute other fuel injection quantity in a step 105. This arrangement can permit a fuel to inject in a quantity corresponding a suction air quantity even if an engine speed varies as experienced in engaging a clutch and the like. Thus, it is made possible to prevent an engine stall which could otherwise take place due to an excessive rich air-fuel mixture.
