FORMATION OF SUPERCONDUCTING OXIDE FILM

PURPOSE:To stably form a film excellent in the superconducting characteristics by inserting a stage for applying paste having the specified componental composition on a substrate in the formation of the Bi-series superconducting oxide film. CONSTITUTION:In case of producing a Bi-Ae-Cu-O-series (wherein Ae is at least one kind of alkaline earth metals) superconducting oxide film, such a stage that paste incorporating Cu, Ae and Bi at the composition ratio of Bi/(Cu+Ae+Bi)=5-40mol%, Ae/(Cu+Ae+Bi)=15-70mol% and Cu/(Cu+Ae+Bi)=24-64 mol% is applied on a substrate is provided. When the above mentioned paste is prepared by hydrolysis of alkoxide, the film having superconducting characteristics excellent in orientational property is preferably obtained.
