PURPOSE:To drop raw material to the desired position and to stabilize blast furnace operation by fitting chutes toward inner furnace at plural opening holes arranged on sloping surface in a large bell cone at top part of the blast furnace and adjusting the dropping position of the charged raw material in the furnace. CONSTITUTION:In the bell type blast furnace, plural opening holes 3 are arranged on the sloping surface in the large bell cone 2 at top part 1 of the blast furnace. Further, each chute 4 is fitted toward inner furnace at the opening holes 3 in the inside of the large bell cone 2. The charged raw material 5 in the blast furnace is once piled on the sloping surface in the large bell cone 2 and a part 5a of the piled raw material is charged through the above opening holes 3 and the chutes 4. Then, by adjusting number of the opening holes 3 or by selecting from various kinds of the chutes 4 for charging to furnace center, for charging to intermediate part of the furnace, for charging to furnace wall, etc., the raw material can be charged to the desired position. |
