A golf club comprising a club head assembly (10) having a bore (10A) in which to receive the end of a shaft assembly (14). The shaft assembly can be temporarily secured to the club head assembly by means of a screw (20) which acts to wedge the shaft assembly against the bore of the club head assembly. This allows the golf club to be tested in practice before final fixing. |
