PURPOSE:To improve deodorizing performance, by making a throw-in hole smaller than the opening of a storage portion, communicating the outer side area of the storage portion with the throw-in hole through a duct so as to take in outside air into the storage cabinet and also by exhausting the inside of a storage cabinet through an ozonizer and a catalyst, in the storage cabinet having a deodorizing function for garbage or so. CONSTITUTION:When a pressure sensor 17 detects an increase of weight of garbage which is thrown into a storage portion 9 in a storage cabinet 1 having deodorizing function with a bag 7 set therein, an air intake fan 21, an air exhaust fan 15, and an ozonizer 13 start to take in outside air, to exhaust inside air, and to produce ozone. Consequently the outside air is introduced into the storage portion 9 to serve as lowering humidity, drying, inhibiting generation of malodor inside of the storage portion 9 and the malodor produced in the storage cabinet 9 is sucked by the exhaust fan 15 and led to the ozonizer 13 and a catalyst 14 for deodorization through ozonization action and catalystic reaction, then blown off, thus it becomes possible to intend an improvement in deodorizing function. |
