PURPOSE:To select and print a ruled line to be printed by comparing length of the ruled line with a set value which is set at every paper size, and executing a printing instruction to a closed ruled line which is read out of a ruled line information storage means, when the length is a prescribed value or below and when character information is contained in the closed ruled line. CONSTITUTION:In a state that many inputted ruled lines are stored in a ruled line information storage means 2, when printing is instructed from an input means 1, a ruled line reading-out means 4 reads out a ruled line being within a printing range from the ruled line information storage means 2 and transfers it to a ruled line length calculating means 5. The ruled line length calculating means 5 calculates frame length of a closed ruled line read out of the ruled line information storage means 2 and transfers it to a comparing means 6, and the comparing means 6 compares the calculated frame length and a set value which is set in advance at every paper size and transfers its result to a printing ruled line selecting means 7. When the length is a set value or below and when character information is contained in the closed ruled line, the printing ruled line selecting means 7 instructs to a printing means 8 to print the closed ruled line read out of the ruled line information storage means 2. In such a way, the ruled line to be printed can be selected and printed. |
