<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the insertion correction executed while looking at a display screen and to improve the operability by displaying an undefined sentence inputted thereafter on only its one line, while bringing it successively to scroll to the left whenever one character is inputted, when a cursor comes to the right side of the line, and displaying this undefined sentence on a display part without omission. CONSTITUTION:When an undefined sentence discriminating means of an input character display processing part 4 discriminates a fact that a first character of an undefined sentence is inputted, an undefined sentence store means stores successively its undefined sentence by one character each in a temporary line buffer 5. Subsequently, when a cursor position discriminating means discriminates a fact that a cursor comes to the right end of the line, a scroll display means displays an undefined inputted thereafter in only its one line, while bringing it successively to scroll to the left whenever one character is inputted. In the end, when a character defining instruction key of a keyboard is depressed, the whole sentence of the undefined sentence stored until that time in an input character temporary buffer 3 is brought to final display by a character defining command from an input processing part 2. In such a way, the undefined sentence can be discriminated clearly, and a smooth and agreeable sense can be given to a user who executes an insertion correction, etc.</p> |
