PURPOSE:To make proper traveling operation of spindle carriage, by engaging a sliding member with part of an endless driven member rotated and operated by a variable speed control motor and driving the spindle carriage through the sliding member. CONSTITUTION:A sliding block 12 is engaged with part of an endless driven chain 10 set in such a way that the endless driven chain is rotated and operated by a variable speed control motor 4 and is adapted to traveling distance of a spindle carriage 13. The sliding block 12 is supported movably in the vertical direction based on a sliding guide 14 set on the spindle carriage 13. Variability in traveling distance of the spindle carriage is suppressed and unevenness in yarn number count of spun yarn and variation in twisting can be reduced. |
