Method for decorating by means of marbling. The method consists in: - depositing an undercoat of an adhesion material on the support; - stirring the paints by means of a tool made of a smooth nonporous substance to form a design in the form of a film; - at least partly taking up the film by an at least partial immersion of the support which is dipped, before the undercoat has completely dried, through the film which is thus progressively laid over the surface of the support; - withdrawing the support from the bath and rinsing it. Application to the decoration of glass objects.
