PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in the weight of a display screen and its deformation by forming a space with partitions. CONSTITUTION:A resin segment 1 is composed of seven 8-shaped open hole parts 2, a frame body 3 surrounding the circumference, and the partitions 4 forming the space between each segment 1 and the frame body 3. A slope 6 continuously rising from the end of each 8-shaped open hole part 2 is provided, and a bar-like opening hole part 7 is formed on the top thereof to constitute a hollow segment part. The partition 4 is formed outside the bottom 5, and a light emitting plane is not filled with thermosetting resin but elsewhere is filled with the resin. Since the resin has a space not filled with resin, the weight of a large-sized semiconductor display device does not increase when it is produced. In addition, the bending of the display screen that may be expected due to the scaling up of the device can be prevented by the formation of the space not filled with the resin. |
