PURPOSE:To shift an intermediate tray without entailing any nonconformity in paper feeding from a paper feed tray by making a side fence of the paper feed tray so as to retreat from the intermediate tray when the intermediate tray, housing a one-side image formed sheet, is in the lower position. CONSTITUTION:After a specified number of sheets of paper P are stacked on an intermediate tray 200 in duplex and composite modes, this intermediate tray 200 is rotated with a fulcrum shaft 201 as the center and the other end side is set to a lower position paper refeedable. At this time, even if there is such a case that a bottom part of the intermediate tray 200 hits on an upper edge of a side fence 104, a movable part 104b constituting the upper edge of the side fence 104 is pressed to the side of a fixed part 104a against a spring 121, allowing movement of the intermediate tray 200, and simultaneously a paper feed roller 110 is made to be retracted to the upper part. Afterward, a moving fence 206 is shifted whereby a front edge of the stacked paper P is moved up to a paper refeedable position. |
