<p>PURPOSE:To enhance recording capacity or durability to a large extent by successively forming a magnetic layer and a design layer to at least one entire surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic layer 2 having a thickness of about 10-15mum is formed to the entire single surface of a flexible over-sheet 3 usually having a thickness of about 0.05-0.3mm composed of a polyvinyl chloride sheet and a concealing layer 5 having a thickness of about 1-3mum and a design layer 4 having a thickness of about 1-2mum are formed thereon by printing to prepare an overcoat material 10. Next, a design layer 6 is provided to one surface of a substrate 1 and a backing material 7 as an over-sheet set to the aforementioned same material quality and thickness and the overcoat material 10 are arranged to both upper and lower surfaces of the substrate 1 to be bonded and laminated thereto under heating and pressure and, thereafter, the obtained laminate is formed into an appropriate size by punching molding. By this method, a magnetic card having a whole thickness of 0.4mm or more and extremely excellent in durability is obtained.</p> |
