<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently charge raw materials to a converter according to the operating conditions of the converter by providing preparation beds to a scrap throwing position, disposing intermediate receiving machines which can be freely moved into and out of the plural points of the preparation beds and combining the same with the direct throwing of scrap. CONSTITUTION:Throwing beds E1-E4 for throwing the scrap are formed in a chute pack loading yard A. The throwing preparation beds 1-1-1-4 are provided to the front ends of the respective scrap throwing beds E1-E4. Plural units of the intermediate receiving machines are moved into and out of the respective beds 1-1-1-4 to receive the scrap carried therein and to unload the scrap onto the beds 1-1-1-4. Direct throwing points 6-1-6-4 are preliminarily provided to the beds 1-1-1-4 to make the direct throwing of the scrap in parallel with the throwing by the machines 2 when the charging conditions in converter steel making are permitted.</p> |
