The present addition relates to agro-foodstuff adaptations (used in canneries, handling raw or cooked fruits or vegetables, grapes or marc, etc.) of the screw with a trough having a flexible base made from extra-strong polyester canvas. It comprises, in its widened bottom part (hopper) two semi-rigid deflectors, of which one 2a is positioned to enable the vegetables to slide on the opposite rising side of the screw so that they are not wedged between the edge of the screw and the canvas. The equipment will be adapted as a function of each particular case: back-geared motor at the head in order to obtain maximum lowering, boom (ramp) for spraying water over the run, etc. <IMAGE>
