PURPOSE:To attain the communication without being affected by the traffic of the communication service for a node management system signal without the extension of an exclusive communication line by applying multiplexing to an inter-node packet and the node management system signal according to the mBnB conversion and applying the communication. CONSTITUTION:A multiplex/demultiplex means 63 is provided in nodes 6a, 6b and an inter-node packet 5b and a node management system signal 8 are multiplexed according to the m-binary/n-binary code conversion (mBnB conversion) and the resulting signal is sent to a transmission means 7 as a serial signal 9. Thus, the serial signal 9 received from the transmission means 7 is demultiplexed into the inter-node packet 5b and the node management system signal 8 according to the mBnB conversion and they are transferred to a packet switching service means 61 or the node management means 62. Thus, the node management system signal requiring timewise accuracy is communicated without being influenced by the traffic of the communication service without extending an exclusive communication line. |
