摘要 PURPOSE:To make a prompt change of direction possible in an arbitrary direction in a narrow place by using all-direction wheels, which can be rotated in a direction at a right angle to an axle direction and also in the axle direction, and controlling the direction of rotation and the speed of these all-direction wheels. CONSTITUTION:Four axles 3 are rotatably supported respectively by two bearings 4 along a right square diagonal line in a reverse surface of a truck 2 in an ultrasonic flaw detector 1 serving as a mover, and an all-direction wheel 5 is fixed between these two bearings 4. The all-direction wheel 5 is constituted by fixing to the axle 3 with a phase mutually shifted 60 deg. two wheel constitutional units formed by rotatably fitting two or more barrel-shaped rollers 7 to a roller frame 6 in its peripheral direction. The axle 3 to provided, on its one end, with a worm wheel 8 fixed thereto and meshed with a worm 9 provided on the shaft 11 of a motor 10 mounted to the trunk 2, and the all- direction wheel 5 is controlled in its rotary direction and rotational speed by controlling a direction of rotation and the rotational speed of the motor 10.
