The invention concerns a displaceable shoring structure. The structure consists essentially of a self-stabilising metal framework providing a plurality of distributed supporting points, characterised in that this framework comprises a central element 9 which is capable of being raised, and around which the weight of the framework is distributed in an equilibrated fashion, in such a way that the raising of this element causes a raising of the framework.
