Device allowing the firm connection of utensil caps to any clean and dry support. The invention consists in the depositing, during the manufacture of the cap, of an adhesive layer 3 and of a protective film 4 on a plane surface 2 produced at the free end of the cap 1. After withdrawing the film 4, the adhesive surface 2 + 3 is applied to the support and the utensil can then be withdrawn with one hand. As the cap remains in place, it may also be used as a utensil support after use. The device according to the invention may be intended either for the caps of objects whose handling gives rise to risk of injury (e.g. medical syringes) or for those utensils to be placed in a patterned manner around the work station (e.g. manual writing instruments, small tools etc.) <IMAGE>
