PURPOSE:To improve operability by a method wherein a signal cable is pulled out to the outside of an outer cylinder coaxially with a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:Rotation energy of a motor 6 is transmitted to a rotary shaft 4 through gears 13 and 14, and rotation of the rotary shaft 4 causes rotation of an ultrasonic vibrator part 2. Electronic linear scan by means of an ultrasonic wave is effected by an ultrasonic vibrator 1 at each microrotation-angle of the ultrasonic vibrator part 2, and ultrasonic B-mode information at different angle positions in a body cavity is collected. In which case, along with rotation of the rotary shaft 4, a signal cable 15 is rotated. However, since the length of a signal cable between a probe and an ultrasonic diagnosis device body is set to an enough value and the twist region of the signal cable is sharply increased, the load of the motor 6 during rotation of the ultrasonic vibrator part 2 is relieved. Further, since the signal cable 15 is not present on the peripheral surface side of a large part and the signal cable 15 on the large size part side can be prohibited against swing, operability of the probe is improved. |
