PURPOSE:To prevent an opening part of a cover from being broken and scattered by providing in a reinforced woven fabric a fold-back lapping part parallelly with a break line in both sides, in case of the cover having a fixed breaking part broken in accordance with the inflation of an air bag while embedding the reinforcing woven fabric in the inside of a base part. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel arranges an air bag deice 7 fixing the peripheral part of a circular opening 11 in an air bag 10 in a folded condition to a base plate 8 and providing in its opening part 9 a gas generator 14. While the base plate 8 fixes to its edge part a cover 17 coating the air bag 10. This cover 17 provides in the internal surface of an upper surface part 19 a plane- view H-shaped breaking line part 20 formed small in thickness while embeds in the internal surface of the part 20 a reinforced woven fabric 23 consisting of net material. The reinforced woven fabric 23 is constituted by providing fold-back lapping parts 28 on both sides of a pair of woven fabric door parts 27 successively provided on the upper end of an outside part 25 where frame tubular belt parts 26 are mutually opposed, and the parts 28 are parallelly arranged with breaking lines on both sides. |
