The shopping trolley 1 includes a chassis 2 carrying a basket 7. Below the basket 7 is arranged a support frame 12 which extends forwards beyond the horizontal projection of the basket 7. Removable transport baskets 13 can be arranged on the support frame 12. When a plurality of shopping trolleys 1 are nested in one another, the support frame 12 of one shopping trolley 1 is located under the basket 7 of the shopping trolley 1 in front. By virtue of this measure, shopping trolleys 1 thus arranged can be nested in one another very closely. <IMAGE>
