The invention relates to a measuring slide unit having at least one measuring slide (60, 30 or 40) which can be moved on a guide member and in each case has a linear measuring displacement sensor (position pickup) (61, 31, 41) for scanning a measurement object. The measuring displacement sensors (61, 31, 41) are reproducibly fixed in the axial direction in each case in a cavity of the guide member or of the measuring slide (30) by means of a clamping device (38, 38', 39). The clamping device (38, 38', 39) preferably consists of a cylindrical clamp sleeve (38), which is rigidly connected to the guide member of the slide (30). Provided in the clamp sleeve (38) is a clip (shackle) (38') by means of which the measuring displacement sensor (31) is clamped radially by a clamping screw (set screw) (39) provided in the guide member. The integration of the measuring displacement sensor in the guide member or measuring slide permits a very compact measuring slide unit to be implemented in particular also for the case of measurements with several degrees of freedom. <IMAGE>
