PURPOSE:To easily and accurately set an optical element in an expensive optical lens barrel by providing a coaxial step surface between a collimator lens and a focus lens and installing a polarizing plate, or a 1/2lambda or 1/4lambda plate which is stuck on a ring on the step surface. CONSTITUTION:A difference in diameter is provided between two lenses 2 and 6 to form the step surface 5. Then the ring 4 where the polarizing plate, 1/2lambda plate 3, or 1/4lambda plate 3 is stuck is pressed against the step surface 5. The element can, therefore, be set accurately at right angles to the optical axis. Then, when an adjustment is made in the direction of the crystal axis, rotation is easily performed by clamping a screwdriver, etc., in a groove 8 for rotation- directional adjustment provided in the ring. Consequently, the element such as the 1/2lambda plate 3 can accurately and easily be set. |
