A process for the production of cleaner granules with only 5-30% by weight of Na tripolyphosphate with good flow properties and good flush-in characteristics comprises converting 70-80% of the anhydrous Na tripolyphosphate into the hexahydrate, mixing with 40-70% by weight of anhydrous Na metasilicate and 5-20% by weight of anhydrous Na carbonate, part of which can be replaced by Na metasilicate hydrates, and spraying with a waterglass solution and granulating, where appropriate with the addition of surfactants, foam inhibitors and active oxygen carriers, and leaving the granules to mature in a stream of hot air.
