<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a humidity exchanger which is excellent in humidity exchanging capacity and durability and easily prepared, by a method wherein a coating layer comprising an inorg. porous powder is formed on a base plate and impregnated with an aqueous solution of a hygroscopic substance. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a base material 1 such as an aluminum or a stainless steel thin plate, an adhesive such as an epoxy resin or a polyether sulfone resin is coated at first and a coating layer 2 comprising an inorg. porous powder such as a silica gel powder or an activated alumina powder is formed thereon. In the next stage, the coating layer 2 is coated with an aqueous solution of a hygroscopic substance such as lithium chloride and impregnated therewith after drying. Thus obtained humidity exchanger is excellent in humidity exchanging capacity and durability while the product is inexpensive.</p> |
