PURPOSE:To obtain a complex shuttle vector providing a replication-initiating domain containing DNA having a specific base sequence and capable of replicating lactobacillus casei. CONSTITUTION:A shuttle vector pHY320PLK having multiple restriction enzyme recognizing sequence whose both ends are each recognition cutting sequences of restriction enzyme Eco47 III and Hind III is coupled to Macrolide- Lincosamide-Streptogramin B resistant gene domain widely capable of replicating with a Gram-positive bacterium to provide the aimed hybrid plasmid.
