The inserted barrel is for a large-calibre firearm, having a stepped adjusting bush at the muzzle end and fixed to it via its smaller diameter portion. Adjusting components guided in the radial direction in the bush (3) act on the muzzle end of the barrel. These components (2,4,6,7,8) are adjustable from the free end of the bush on the barrel (1). They can be formed by grubscrews (8) with pointed tips (7) forming an oblique surface, via which they bear against thrust-pieces (4) in radial guides and acting against the barrel end. USE - In shotgun converted to rifle, it being unnecessary to remove the barrel for adjustment.
