PURPOSE:To detect release of an upper cover and to detect resist with one sensor by forming an actuating lever, connected to a paper leading tip detecting member and opening and closing the sensor, to be able to travel with the upper cover. CONSTITUTION:The paper leading tip detecting member 40 of a resist detecting device 36 is supported in the upper cover 18 able to swing, the acting lever 44' which is detected by the paper leading tip detecting member 40, opening and closing the sensor 45 provided in the main body 22 responding to the movement of the paper leading tip detecting member 40 is connected to the paper leading tip detecting member 40, and constituted to be able to travel with the upper cover 18. Therefore, when the upper cover 18 is opened and the paper detecting member 40 is traveled with the upper cover, the released condition of the upper cover can be detected by opening the sensor 45 with the acting lever 44'. Thus, one sensor can be shared for resist detecting and upper cover release detecting. |
