摘要 PURPOSE:To improve image flaw evaluating accuracy and to save energy for an evaluating operation by electrically detecting the flaw of a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with an acicular electrostatical charger 2, which supplies electrostatical charges by maintaining a space between the charger and the photosensitive layer of a revolving specimen photosensitive body 1 surface and generating a spiral locus, and a voltage supplying source circuit of the charger 2 is provided with the detector 5 of the electrostatically charging current, for example, series resistor. A detected voltage signal is amplified by a judging part 7, A/D converted and stored tentatively and the evaluation is carried out by comparing the electrostatically charging current obtained from the detected voltage signal having the electrostatically charging current value of the photosensitive body which does not include the flaw as the standard value. Therefore, the size, density and the position of the flaw are detected by the changes of the electrostatically charging current. Thus, uneveness of the evaluation accuracy caused by an individual difference and by including unnecessary copying processes is eliminated, product damages generated by adhering toner and cleaning are eliminated, the evaluation test is automatized and the evaluation cost is reduced.
