<p>This invention relates to a post card including a post card base sheet and a cover material which is formed integrally with the post card base sheet, is folded back and bonded to the post card base sheet and covers at least part of the post card base sheet. The cover material includes a base material having a shielding property, a primer layer formed on one of the main planes of the base material, and a heat-bondable resin layer formed on the surface of the primer layer or a first heat-bondable resin layer and a second heat-bondable resin layer formed at part of the surface of the first heat-bondable resin layer and having high bonding power. The cover material is bonded to the surface of the post card base sheet by the heat-bondable resin layer or by the first and second heat-bondable resin layers. The primer layer improves the bonding power of the heat-bondable resin layer. Therefore, the heat-bondable resin layer is bonded strongly to the base material or the shielding layer, and weakly to the post card base sheet. When the base material is peeled, the primer layer and the heat-bondable resin layer are peeled off from the post card base sheet along with the base material in the case of a post card including the base material having the shielding property, and the shielding layer, the primer layer and the heat-bondable resin layer are peeled off from the post card base sheet together with the base material in the case of a post card including the shielding layer having a shielding property. Therefore, the surface of the post card base sheet becomes visible. Thus the present invention provides a post card capable of shielding suitably and temporarily the indicated items on the surface of the post card base sheet, for example, without applying any machining or treatment to the surface of the post card base sheet, and a method of its production.</p> |
