The sales counter has fixed hollow-sectioned uprights (16) going up from the main part (10), and links (20) for fixing the movable front panel (15). Inside the hollow-section is a connection for a piston-cylinder drive mechanism. The one drive end is linked to the upright (16) and the other end to a link (20). Both ends are interconnected to the two connections. Controls with handles (57,57') inside the counter (10) for raising (71'), lowering (71) and stopping the front panel (15) are connected at one end to a source of pressurised medium (40) and, on the other side, to the two drive-connections (35,36). USE/ADVANTAGE - The sales-counter reliably and automatically secures the front panel.
