PURPOSE:To achieve an observation of flow condition in a wide range by calculating a position of a float from a distance to a float on the surface of sea and an angle of direction thereof, a height of a video camera and angles of horizontal and vertical deflections thereof by a remote control of the video camera mounted on a floating body in the air. CONSTITUTION:A video camera 15 is mounted on a floating body in the air, for example, a kite 14 and balloon retained in the air with a mooring string such as kite string 13 or the like with a measurable delivery from a fixed point 0 of a ship 12 which is moored with an anchor 21 and has a position measuring device set and controlled with a radio-controlled transmitter 17 in such a manner as to be free to catch a float 11 floating on the surface of sea WL at a collimation point 16A of a monitor TV 16. First, the camera 15 is controlled to catch the float 11 at the collimation point 16 and a delivery of retaining string 13 is measured to determine a distance L to the camera 15 from the fixed point 0. Then, an azimuth theta0, a height (h) of the camera 15 and horizontal and vertical angles theta2 and theta1 are measured and data thereof undergo an arithmetic processing with a CPU 19 to display a position of the float 11 on a plotter 20. |
