PURPOSE:To fully utilize river hydraulic power, by providing an inlet to a waterway of a conventional type hydraulic power plant, while providing a residual flow intake dam, having an outlet, in the downstream of an intake dam, then utlizing a residual flow at a lower level than of the waterway thus performing pumping-up power generation. CONSTITUTION:A water inletI2, waterway T2, pumping-up power station water turbine W2, outlet O2 and dam D2 are provided on the way of waterways T1, T1' in the power generating system comprising a dam D1, inlet I1, waterways T1, T1' and conventional type power station water turbine W1. Through a difference is caused from the waterways T1, T1' in a natural flow down type or pressure tunnel type and the dams D1, D2 having adjustment capacity or not, generation quantity and heads H1, H2 or the like in each power station are adequately selected, and an establishing condition of pumping-up generation can be satisfied to effectively utilize water. |
