<p>PURPOSE:To easily fetch image information desirable to a user by writing and displaying read and inputted picture data to a nonvolatile semiconductor memory. CONSTITUTION:An EERPOM is used for a memory card 16. The information on a printed substance is read as a picture by an image scanner 22, fetched through a scanner interface 23 and an input/output terminal 11 into an electronic notebook main body 10, and it is stored into the EEPROM at large capacity to be the memory card 16. Further the fetched picture data are compressed in an encoding system by a picture data compressing circuit 18, and displayed as the picture on a display part 20. Thus the arbitrary image information desirable to the user can be held in the electronic notebook.</p> |
