A liquid injector comprises an accumulator containing a liquid and a propellant gas, and a liquid delivery tube (10). The injector also comprises means between the tube (10) and the accumulator for affording restricted flow of liquid out of the injector and unrestricted flow into the injector. Two intersecting holes (35) and (36) are bored into the base of a telegraph pole (33) and the tube (10) is screwed into the hole (35). The hole (36) is closed off at (36), the installed injector is opened to inject liquid into the pole (33), and buried. Later the buried injector can be re-charged with liquid from the hole (37). |
