In an arrangement for preventing pre- and post-dripping of fuel oil from the nozzle of fuel oil burners, in particular fuel oil burners with preheating of the fuel oil, having a solenoid valve which is hydraulically arranged between the feed pump for the fuel oil and the burner nozzle, the solenoid valve being integrated in the pump casing or being constructed as an independent component, and having a non-return valve which is accommodated in the burner nozzle and whose closing member can be lifted from the valve seat counter to spring force by the feed pump pressure, pre- and post-dripping are simply and reliably avoided by the solenoid valve (5) being assigned a bypass line (11) which receives a non-return valve (12) working in the opposite direction to the non-return valve (8) of the burner nozzle (6), and by the non-return valve (8) of the burner nozzle (6) having a greater opening pressure than the non-return valve (12) of the bypass line (11). <IMAGE>
