PURPOSE:To ensure the elimination of a slip by sequentially operating a torque distribution control device, a gear position control device, an ignition timing and throttle opening control device and an anti lock brake control device respectively in traction control upon the occurrence of the slip of a full time four- wheel drive vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A torque distribution control device 25 is so provided as to bypass a center differential device 20 inputted with the power of an engine 1 via a torque converter 2 and an automatic transmission 3. In addition, the engine 1 is provided with an ignition timing and throttle opening control device 31, the automatic transmission 3 with a gear position control device 32 and a brake circuit with an anti-lock brake control device 34, respectively. Furthermore, a value resulting from a difference between wheel acceleration alpha and body acceleration G, and the predetermined value A are compared in a control unit 50. When alpha-G>=A, a four-wheel slip is determined and the control devices 25, 31, 32 and 34 are made to operate in sequence until the slip is eliminated, thereby sequentially reducing a driving force. |
